Founder, Speak Up For A Change Foundation

Speak Up For A Change began with a simple conviction from our founder, Adzowavi Sakponou Adenka: when people are truly heard, healing and progress follow. What started as neighborhood conversations and small acts of support grew into a community movement committed to restoring dignity and opening doors for those who need it most.

From early initiatives in Togo to programs that now reach the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, and more, our journey has been fueled by listening, showing up, and taking practical action. We create safe spaces, connect people to resources, mentor young leaders, strengthen families, and rally communities to stand together.

Our story is written in the confidence a child gains through mentorship, the relief a widow feels when support arrives, the hope a family rediscovers with a helping hand, and the courage of neighbors who choose compassion. Their voices shape who we are and guide where we go next.

The Problem We Fight

Domestic violence destroys families silently. Many victims stay hidden, isolated, and afraid. Speak Up For A Change creates spaces where voices rise, healing starts, and victims turn survivors. This is not charity; this is restoration. We believe in the power of voice and action. Together with our partners, volunteers, and supporters, we are building stronger communities and changing lives one step at a time.
